Are you considering getting the Sonicare e5300?  The Sonicare e5300 is definitely a lot cheaper than the Sonicare elite which hovers around the $300 price range.  The Sonicare e5300 can be had for only $54.98 over at Amazon so it’s within reach of many more people.  This thing is pretty popular by the way, it has a 4.5/5 star rating on Amazon so it is definitely popular as well as effective.

This thing has a soft grip handle and holds a charge for up to 2 weeks which makes it great for travelling.  It is a rechargeable toothbrush that cleans your teeth with high speed bristles.  This also takes off 80% of coffee and tobacco stains if you use it for at least 28 days.  This thing also comes with a contoured brush head, charger base and a traveling case.

One reviewer of this product mentions that he did his research into this versus the other higher priced models and found the difference to be in the style of the handle and all the fancy lights that show up to show you your battery life.  Also, the more expensive Elite models beep every 30 seconds for a 2 minute timer, which may not be something you really need to have.

That being said, if you don’t care about such things it’s best to just go with this cheaper model and save yourself some cash, the money you save can then be used to buy yourself some replacement heads.

Most of the reviews that are over here are all praising this as one of the best purchase decisions each buyer has made.  Essentially this is a great brush at a great price, you can really feel the difference between this and any previous toothbrush you’ve ever used, especially if before you only did things with a manual toothbrush.

Now in addition to the Sonicare e5300, there is also the Sonicare e5500 which is the next step up.  This one is a bit more expensive though at $79.94, but it too is rated well with 4.5/5 stars from 210 customer reviews.

The first couple of times using this can be somewhat unnerving having it vibrating and moving around so much in your mouth, so vigorously, but you do get used to it and once you do, you’re not likely to want to go back to what you were using before. 

Whether you get the Sonicare e5300 or the Sonicare e5500, either are good buys that will last you a long time to come.
